SDII’s partnership with the Pankow Foundation and AISC to develop the FastFloor commercial modular steel plate floor assembly (see Pankow grant) relies extensively on an intimate partnership with industry. In particular the Industry Advisory Panel (IAP) provides advice and support that is critical to project success. IAP participants include representatives with direct and in-kind financial assistance as well as fabricators, erectors, and practitioners.
