In 2011 SDII investigators Sabelli and Easterling participated in developing a primer on the seismic design of steel deck diaphragms that is freely available as NEHRP Technical Brief No. 5. This publication provides a high level summary for seismic design of steel deck diaphragms and opens many of the issues being addressed today by the SDII effort. Bookmark under essential reading!
