SDII Researchers win NSF Grant

The NSF has awarded SDII researchers a three year grant to advance innovation in performance of building diaphragms. The project “Collaborative Research: Transforming Building Structural Resilience through Innovation in Steel Diaphragms” was awarded from the Engineering for Natural Hazard program in Division of Civil, Mechanical, and Manufacturing Innovation of the Engineering Directorate and begins in September 2016.
